Living With The Seasons: Fall
The warm sunny days of summer soon shift into shorter days and cooler nights. The summer heats subsides and the seasons shift to fall or autumn, and the trees begin to drop their leaves. The dosha vata is more prominent during the windy cooler days of autumn. The qualitites of cold, change, movement, flighty, and dry are sometimes used to describe the vata dosha. The changing season of fall quickly evolves into the cold, wet, contracted months of winter.
