What are the different seasons? Winter. Spring. Summer. Fall. How are these different from one another? What types of qualities and energies are present in each season?
The wet spring days turn into long sunny days of summer. Summer is known for the warmth, intense sunshine, sun burns, and the need for cool refreshing drinks. The heat of pitta can create short tempers, intense emotions, transformation, and a strong appetite. Cooling and calming foods and activities are helpful to balance the heat of pitta. Swimming is a wonderful way to cool down in the hot summer months or drinking a cold limeade.
